Gatta Short

The stripe is the oldest code in Mediterranean dress — born from the sea, from the necessity of visibility between vessels, from the instinct of the sailor to be unmistakable on the water. The Gatta Short carries that legacy in a contemporary, feminine register: a cotton-modal-polyester blend that drapes with the fluidity of something designed to move, cut to a regular straight-leg silhouette with elastic waist that allows the stripe to fall vertically, cleanly, without interruption. The most considered thing is always the simplest.

Design & Construction
Women's regular straight-leg fit. Mid-rise elastic waist for clean, uninterrupted comfort. Crop length — approximately 22–24 cm depending on size. Vertical stripe pattern in navy, black, and white — the defining visual element. The cotton-modal-polyester blend provides natural drape and slight stretch. Color: Marina (navy, black and white stripe). Note: Minor batch differences can occur during production.

Sensation
Light, fluid, and naturally breathable. The modal content gives the fabric an exceptionally soft hand that drapes close to the body without clinging — a garment that moves with complete ease. The 220 g/m² weight makes it the lightest bottom in the collection, ideal for Atlanta's warmest months and long evenings that begin outdoors.

Use
The natural companion to the Cappuccio Crop or Leggerezza Tee in Bianco or Nero — both worn loose, never tucked. The vertical stripe creates its own proportion and requires no additional pattern in the composition. Flat leather sandals or minimalist slides for a look that requires no adjustment from morning to last light.
