Advertising & Data Sharing Disclosure

Last updated: July 23, 2026

This Advertising & Data Sharing Disclosure supplements the Gatto Bianco Palace Privacy Policy and explains how advertising, measurement, and data-sharing technologies may be used in connection with our Services.

Meta advertising and measurement technologies

We may use Shopify’s official Facebook & Instagram by Meta integration. When enabled, this integration may use the Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, and Advanced Matching to help us measure and attribute advertising, understand how people interact with the Services, match activity to Meta accounts, build or refine advertising audiences, optimize campaigns, prevent fraud, and deliver or measure personalized advertising where permitted.

Events we may send

Depending on the customer’s actions, available data, consent choices, and the capabilities of the Shopify–Meta integration, we may send events such as:

  • PageView — a page was viewed.
  • ViewContent — a product or other relevant item was viewed.
  • Search — a search was performed.
  • AddToCart — an item was added to the cart.
  • InitiateCheckout — checkout was started.
  • AddPaymentInfo — payment information was added or the relevant checkout step was reached.
  • Purchase — a purchase was completed, potentially including order value, currency, product identifiers, quantities, and an order or event identifier.

These events may be generated by a customer’s browser, generated by Shopify or our servers, or sent through both browser and server channels, depending on the event and configuration. Not every event is necessarily available in every session.

Information used for matching and measurement

Event data may include the page or product involved, search terms, product identifiers, cart or order information, value and currency, timestamps, referring URLs, cookie identifiers, event identifiers, IP address, browser or user-agent information, and device or network information.

Where available and permitted, Advanced Matching or the Conversions API may also use customer identifiers such as email address and telephone number, and may use name or location information supplied during account creation or checkout. Certain customer identifiers, including email addresses and telephone numbers, may be normalized and converted into a one-way hashed format before transmission where required by Meta. Hashing does not make the data anonymous, and Meta may use it to determine whether the information corresponds to a Meta user.

Browser/server event deduplication

When browser and server channels transmit copies of the same event, Shopify and Meta may use a shared event identifier and related event details to recognize that the transmissions describe one action. This process, known as deduplication, is intended to prevent the same action from being counted more than once.

Meta processes information it receives under its own terms and privacy notice. You can learn more in the Meta Privacy Policy.

Cookies and similar technologies

We, Shopify, Meta, and other authorized partners may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, maintain security, analyze performance, measure and attribute advertising, and—where permitted—support personalized or targeted advertising.

Where required, non-essential advertising and analytics technologies are used according to your consent choices. You can use our cookie banner or cookie-preference controls to accept, reject, or adjust available categories. Rejecting or withdrawing consent may limit the use of non-essential browser technologies, but it may not affect processing that is legally permitted without consent or information that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, transaction processing, or legal compliance.

Shopify and Shopify Network Intelligence

The Services are hosted by Shopify. Shopify collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services to provide, secure, and improve Shopify-powered services. Information submitted through the Services may be transmitted to Shopify and service providers in countries other than your own.

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for our store. When enabled, Shopify may securely use customer data from our store together with data from interactions with Shopify and other Shopify merchants to generate insights and provide related network-enabled services. These services may include improved products and personalization, improved store performance, fraud or security improvements, and better advertising targeting and measurement. Shopify states that other merchants cannot access our store’s customer data.

For these Shopify network-enabled services, Shopify may act as an independent controller or business responsible for its own processing, including responding to requests concerning that use. Shopify states that it respects applicable consent and opt-out signals in Shopify Network Intelligence:

  • If you opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising through Global Privacy Control, Shopify’s data-sharing opt-out page, or a properly integrated privacy tool, qualifying activity is marked so Shopify Network Intelligence does not use it for advertising purposes.
  • If you do not consent to non-essential cookies through Shopify’s cookie banner or another tool properly integrated with Shopify’s Customer Privacy API, device data from that visit is marked so it is not used by Shopify Network Intelligence for non-essential purposes.
  • If qualifying personal information is deleted following a valid request, Shopify states that the information is also deleted from Shopify Network Intelligence as applicable.

For more information, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.

Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out of processing defined by applicable law as a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising.”

  • Cookie preferences: Use the cookie banner or cookie-preference control available on the Services.
  • Data-sharing opt-out: Visit our data-sharing opt-out page where available.
  • Global Privacy Control: Where required by applicable law and supported by our Shopify privacy settings, a recognized Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal is treated as an opt-out request for the browser and device sending the signal. If Shopify can associate that device with a Shopify account, Shopify may also apply the request to that account. We do not currently respond to other “Do Not Track” browser signals.
  • Marketing communications: Use the unsubscribe link in a promotional email or other method provided in the communication. Even after opting out of marketing, you may still receive transactional or service messages.

Opting out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising does not necessarily stop all advertising, analytics, or data processing. You may continue to receive advertising that is not based on activity across non-affiliated businesses, and we may continue processing permitted for providing requested services, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or other purposes allowed by law.
